Something to prove ...

Thackley walked away with an easy 4-0 victory today as the Dragons failed to perform to the standards they are capable of .
Time after time the Dragons lacked any fight to get something from the match and failed to work as a team with communication letting them down on numerous occasions . It wasn't all doom and gloom as the defense were solid and well organised with Jack, Archie and Euan working well as a unit . The Dragons did have some good attacking play with passing moves that were a joy to watch but came up against a good Thackley defense and the few chances Silsden created weren't executed with confidence . On a positive side some of the thinking and touhes that some of the lads tried to play but didn't really come off proved they are developing .
All in all i think the Dragons were expecting things to happen rather than MAKING things happen today and its time to stand up and be counted , these guys have regular positions and have the ability to play well week in week out and play as a TEAM . Confidence was lacking in individuals today which has a massive effect on how they play as a team .
