Opposition referee comments that Silsden were a pleasure to referee.

Silsden started brightly with the wind at their back and immediately scored with a well taken goal by Jaylan Camsey.

The 2nd followed shortly after with a shot calmly tucked into the corner by the wing wizard Lewis Gartland. The next goals came from Lewis again and a cracker from Daniel Barnes.

Silsden were relentless and Camsey got the 5th. The 6th was scored by the Silsden goalie Sam Brockbank, with an almighty goal kick, one bounce and over the over the opposition goalie. What a goal!

Camsey completed a first half hat trick from a Charlie Barnes corner. Although Silsden dominated the half Campion never gave up and got an exceptional goal just before the half time whistle.

Silsden played the 2nd half with some outstanding football into the wind and Charlie Barnes smashed in a screamer from 20 yards.

Campion tried very hard but their was no getting passed the Silsden defence of Harry Whitaker, Josh Elliot and Man of the Match Lola Cunningham.

From a free kick, Whitaker had a spectacular effort smash against the cross bar from a good 30 yards out. Gartland got his hat trick with a nice finish and a mix up at the back saw Camsey get his 4th.

Both Silsden and Campion played with great spirit and the Camaraderie between the two teams was great to see. The opposition referee approached our parents and managers and commented on what a well mannered polite team and that it was a pleasure to referee them.
