Calverley shock silsden into action.

Another great team performance by the U9 Cobbydalers started very slowly and it took Calverley to score for them to wake up, but within 30 seconds of the Calverley goal, Charlie Barnes set up Jaylan Camsey for a tap in at the back post.

It was not long until Jaylan had his 2nd after a great defense splitting pass from Sam Ayik. More pressure from Silsden resulted in an own goal maken it 1-3 at the break.

The 2nd half saw a strong Calverley side playing down hill, putting Silsden under pressure but with solid defensive play from Lola Cunninham, Man of the Match Harry Whitaker, and 2 excellent saves from Sam Brockbank the scoreline remained intact.

A great attack from Annabelle Hudson resulted in a corner which was superbly headed home from at least 10 yards out by Lewis Gartland, a strong contender for goal of the season.

An onslaught of attacks by Silsden resulted in 2 great strikes from distance by Daniel Barnes and Lewis Gartland. A  great team goal from back to front finished with Jaylan Camseys well taken hat trick.

The game finished with a pile driver from Charlie Barnes taking the scoreline to Calverly 1 - Silsden 8.
