1st Quarter
Harvey (GK), Will L, Harry T, Lennon, Ollie, Edward.
Real slow start from the Dragons not getting stuck in and not passing the ball. An early goal for Leeds Macabbi didn’t help either a good low finish that Harvey didn’t stand a chance against. The Leeds Macabbi number 7 in particular causing problems with some good strong runs. The Leeds Macabbi second came from a free kick at the edge of our box. We did carve out one chance late in the quarter when Harry T put in some strong tackling to emerge with the ball and play a lovely pass to Ollie who had a good run and shot well saved by the Leeds Macabbi keeper.

2nd Quarter
Harvey (GK), Will L, Harry T, William, Thomas, Edward.
Much better showing from the Dragons in this quarter getting stuck in and starting to work as a team. Early chances for Harry T and William backed up this improvement and it wasn’t long before the goal came and what a beauty, William receiving the ball from a Thomas throw in and chipping the keeper from the edge of the box! The Dragons second came from a nice pass from Will L to Edward who beat a couple of players before powerfully finishing.

3rd Quarter
Ollie (GK), Harry T, Lennon, Thomas, William, Edward.
The Dragons were in total control of the game now, dominating the tackle and possession. The first chance fell to Edward after a good pass from Lennon sent him free but his effort was just wide. Edward then got the Dragons third after intercepting a pass and neatly finishing. Further chances highlighted the Dragons domination. First Edward hit Leeds Macabbi on the break but his shot was well saved and then Thomas sent William through with a fine pass only for the Leeds Macabbi keeper to save well again.

4th Quarter
William (GK), Will L, Harry T, Thomas, Lennon, Edward.
More of the same to finish off the game. Thomas again the provider for the fourth and final goal, a quick throw in evaded everyone until it reached Lennon at the back of the crowd who turned and broke clear to finish powerfully into the bottom corner. The Dragons nearly added to the score line from a Thomas corner with Lennon’s shot being blocked and then Harry T’s effort from the edge of the box just going wide.

Summary.
Another great performance by our boys today. They recovered well from a poor start to end up dominating the game for much of the match. A cracking shift from Thomas in midfield earned him the player of the match award for great tackling, passing and work rate. This was pretty much the theme throughout the team and there are great signs of them bonding as a team.
Great comeback Dragons! We the coaches are very proud of you all!
